About PasoPaso

One step at a time,
feel yourself moving forward.

"Paso" means "step" in Spanish.
PasoPaso is a goal achievement app that turns big goals into steps you can take today, restoring the feeling of moving forward.

Why we build it

"No purpose, no goals."
That's not your fault.

Look around, and surprisingly few people live with a clear purpose or goal. "I don't know what I want to do." "Even when I try hard, it doesn't feel like it matters." — We believe feeling this way is not a sign of weak will or too little effort.

Choices keep multiplying, and social media streams everyone else's shiny wins at you. Your own small progress never turns into a number, and no feedback ever comes back. Little by little, a sense of helplessness — "maybe trying is pointless" — piles up.

What's happening

Helplessness spreads
in a quiet chain.

We see the loss of purpose and goals as a chain like this:

  • Comparison on social media breeds helplessness
  • The feeling that "trying is pointless" pushes purpose and goals away
  • Without goals, there is no sense of moving forward
  • Without that sense, motivation keeps dropping

The key to breaking this chain is neither grit nor talent. It's an accumulation of small, tangible wins that let you feel "I really am moving forward."

Core challenges

Five hurdles
that stop challenges.

Through many interviews and observations, we distilled the factors that block challenges into five issues. PasoPaso aims to overcome each of them by design.

  1. Lack of purpose

Few role models nearby, and no opportunity to learn the skill of understanding yourself.

  2. Lack of goals / difficulty breaking them down

No know-how for designing goals, and a culture where failure means losing points keeps challenges at a distance.

  3. No sense of progress

Results are never quantified and feedback never arrives, so nothing feels tangible.

  4. Helplessness and lower self-efficacy through comparison

Exposed to glamorous comparisons on social media, you lose the ability to value your own growth on its own terms.

  5. Poorly allocated time

Smartphone dependence and dopamine loops steal the time that matters most.

How we think

Work backward from the goal,
down to a single step.

With ordinary task management, you can clear what's in front of you, but you can't tell whether your life is getting better or whether you're heading where you truly want to go. The more tasks you clear, the easier it is to lose track of where you actually are.

That's why PasoPaso starts from the final goal and works backward. Split the goal into milestones, then break each milestone into tasks you can do today. What to do next stays clear at all times, and every step you complete restores the feeling of getting closer to your goal.

Goal

The big goal you ultimately want to reach.

Milestone

Waypoints that mark the road to your goal.

Todo

A step you can take today, without hesitation.

What's next

Small steps add up
to big change.

"Paso" means "step" in Spanish. PasoPaso was born to help you stack challenges one step at a time — building systems that let anyone move forward naturally, without relying on willpower. And we believe that as more people regain the feeling of moving forward, it ripples out into the well-being of society as a whole.

Start with a single goal. Let's turn your "someday I want to…" into a step you can take today.
